It was the first acupuncture office in the Grants Pass area when Dr. Doss opened the center in 1987. Dr. Doss and the team at AHMC continue to provide the best in friendly, gentle, and effective patient care.

Dr. Gregory K. Doss

Doctor of Oriental Medicine

A native Oregonian, Dr. Greg Doss, O.M.D. (CA), L.Ac., C.B.P., started his career in Chinese medicine in 1980 when he began studying and working for an acupuncturist in Ashland, Oregon.  He attended Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine and graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  He then went on to receive his Doctorate Degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, California.  During his doctorate training, he studied extensively with Dr. Yu, a Chinese acupuncturist, herbalist, and western medical doctor.  Her insights opened his eyes to the possibility of eastern and western medicine working harmoniously together.  

 

Dr. Doss set up his medical office in Grants Pass in 1987.  During his over 35 years in practice he has continued his education and stayed current with the latest research available.  He has received a Master Practitioner Certificate in N.L.P. and is a Second Degree Practitioner of Reiki.  He has also taken nearly 500 hours of instruction in spiritual/emotional healing work.  He completed the advanced courses in NAET Allergy Elimination, a technique that eliminates allergies for life.  He has successfully integrated a healing therapy called BodyTalk into his practice, and is a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, which helps to reveal and heal emotional and spiritual blocks that keep people from optimal health.  His compassionate and patient manner continue to draw patients to his practice and contribute to making him an effective healer.
